Meet Leslie! Leslie Jasmín Trujillo was born in Chicago, ILL on July 2002. She currently lives in Milwaukee,WI. The young artist had been enrolled in several art schools like Alexander Mitchell Integrated Arts School and Lincoln Center of the Arts. The world around her is her main inspiration, her eyes see everything as a work of art. Leslie is a color enthusiast. Since being enrolled in school she has taken art classes. For 6 years she was in the after school program ran by the Boys & Girls Club taking extra art classes with her influential art teacher Ms.Tammy, she always challenged Leslie to try new thing and in multiple occasions entered her work in art competitions. At Lincoln Center of the Arts she took Graphic Art and Visual Art, involving herself in the annual event Jazz in the Parking lot where student art was displayed. At St Joan Antida she took Art Foundations, half way through the school year she transferred to Alexander Hamilton High School, Sensei was her teacher and mentor he was a strict wise man that always had expectations to be met with him she learned things like weaving and realistic portraits. Returning to St Joan Antida she is currently taking Investigational Art. Leslie enjoys working with bright colors. She's determined to grow as a artist and continue to challenge herself by stepping out of her comfort zone.
